A few weeks back, I ordered a quick disappearance of THE snow. And that’s what happened! A very short period of awful, unpassable conditions on our regular paths and, voila, we have spring! It feels like I’m waking up from a long hibernation. Winter is, truly, not my thing.
Today, we had an encounter with two deer. Luckily, I spotted them before Una, and got her on the leash. You can (barely) see them on the video below.
A few weeks back, I was (sheep)babysitting for a friend. The little fellas were something else! If I lived in the countryside, I would have a small herd of sheep, and would never eat any of them (like some people I know tend to do). I would just cuddle them, and maybe teach a few tricks to the young ones…
I nominated myself as the best sheep whisperer in Southern Finland. I tamed two of the bravest ones in a little over 24 h from suspicious into lap-climbing. Thrilled!
Below is my friend’s dog, Sumu. Una idolizes her, thinks she is very cool (which she is, of course). One of the first dogs I can call Una’s friends 🙂
