We visited Pyhä-Häkki national park with my parents today. I have been there a few times before. It’s not very big, but you can walk in a beautiful, truly old forest. Absolutely lovely! Una enjoyed the 6,5 km walk. She looked funny when trying to decide whether to trot on one or both of the wooden planks that make the duckboards (pitkospuut).
We learned that they had opened a new, longer (16 km) circular path that covers more of the park! We didn’t have time to take the longer route today, so I want to visit the park again soon!
